Congratulations….you made it through another week. Friday is here and most of us are counting the hours until 5 o’clock.
On my home page is a saying I’ve been preaching for years. Work is something I do to pay the bills and kill time between vacations. This in no way implies that I don’t take my job seriously or do my job well. I do. I sleep well at night knowing I have given my job it’s due diligence. But that’s it. Nothing more, nothing less.
I live for my family, friends, hobbies, vacations, etc. These are the things that bring me joy and that I find myself focusing on the most because they are the most important things.
Take a moment going into the weekend to remind yourself what’s most important to you.
I love this picture I’m posting today. Reason #1 is obviously because my children are what’s most important to me. But reason #2 is seeing them NOT with phones, talking to each other, enjoying the beauty right before their eyes. My job pays the bills and allowed me to give my children this moment that I’ll never forget. Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
