One of the coolest experiences I’ve had with the kids was snorkeling a shipwreck while in St. Kitts. If you ever find yourself down there, I HIGHLY recommend doing the Shitten Bay Trail (about a 2 miles out and back hike). I also suggest you start early because of the heat/humidity as well as there will be tour boats dropping people off to snorkel the site as well.
The kids and I did this hike early and we had the entire shipwreck to ourselves that morning….and it just felt magical and surreal. The water was as clear as a swimming pool and the ocean life was amazing. We have snorkeled before, but this was a one of a kind experience. Anyone else have any snorkeling/diving stories?
