Back on track with a Family Wednesday post. Because the start of my new hockey season starts tonight, it obviously made me think of my hockey family and how much I’m looking forward to seeing all the boys again later today. Much later actually…10:40pm puck drop which translates to about an 11pm start…which in turn means a 2am bedtime….which then means a highly unproductive day of work tomorrow. (Don’t tell my bosses).

So in honor of my hockey brothers, I would like to bring up the HULU series called “Shoresy”. If you are a hockey player or played hockey in the past, this show is a must watch. It is not only hilarious, but really gives some insight into the brotherhood (or sisterhood) that is being a part of a hockey family. If you played sports and have been in a locker room for all the ridiculous banter, you will love it. If you love hearing some terrific “chirps” on the ice, you will love it. The characters are fantastic and you they will definitely remind you of your own teammates (or yourself).

Now if you have young children/hockey players in your family, I do suggest putting this one on after they are asleep for the night. Definitely not appropriate for the younger kids, though my son saw a few early episodes (he’s almost 15) and he definitely laughed at all the hockey stuff he could relate to on and off the ice.
