This coming weekend is Memorial Day Weekend here in the States. Please remember all the men and women who have served and are serving in our military. During a time where everyone wants to complain about everything our government is doing…and because of our freedoms, you have the right to do so…never forget those who fought to give us those freedoms.
I’m sure for those of you around my age (50s), all our our grandparents probably fought in WWII. Many of our parents are at the age where they were drafted and fought in Vietnam. Maybe some of the younger readers have parents who fought in Dessert Storm. Every generation has a story to tell and we should listen to them. Yes…we have plenty of problems here in the USA…but I still can’t think of another place I’d rather live (I mean I can’t wait to get out of New Jersey someday…don’t get me wrong!)
