Continuing with the Alaska theme, it was really special to be able to hike another glacier. The first one we ever hiked was in Glacier National Park in Montana. I swear that was one of the coolest things we’ve ever done. Unbelievable views, wildlife, etc. I’ll have to dig back into the photo archives and post of few of those at some point. But to be able to hike a second glacier was a fun experience. The hike we did last week was the Portage Pass Trail (https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/alaska/portage-pass)
It wasn’t overly crowded since we did the hike mid week and it was raining a bit…..and this glacier is sorta out in the middle of nowhere. But I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves…though they really can’t do it justice compared to seeing it through one’s own eyes. Enjoy!
