Only one topic for today….Happy Birthday to my amazing daughter Emily! It’s crazy to still feel like a 19 year old in my own head at times but the reality is that I have a 19 year old daughter now. Time moves unbelievably fast but I have enjoyed every single second. What’s the best stage? All of them. Watching your baby grow into a young lady is a true gift.
Over 19 years ago when Mary was pregnant with Emily, at first I was like “what do I do with a girl??” I think I figured it out quickly…you just love her and try to be the best parent you can be. Then I got excited to think “maybe I’ll actually be able to figure out women. I mean I get to raise a girl from day 1”. That was clearly short lived and I still can’t figure out women…but I’m not alone, am I guys?? HAHA
