Yes, the MLB season is already underway with the Tokyo Series between the Dodgers and Cubs. In our household, hockey season came to end this past weekend with Mikey’s team losing in the National Bound Qualifier round…..and the moment the last second ran off that clock….it became Baseball Season! He’s been practicing indoors for a few months but High School baseball officially started on March 10th and yesterday was his team’s first scrimmage.
The game went well and the team looks like it has amazing potential. Yesterday’s scrimmage ended with an 11-5 win. Mikey got to play and make some plays in CF and picked up a nice line drive single. Good start so far for him and the team and I can’t wait for the 20 game season to start next week.
What sports are your kids starting in this time of year? Do they play a single sport year round or multiple sports? For those of you that live on the other side of the planet, what sports or activities are your kids doing that I have no idea about? I would love to hear about it.
