As we approach the opening bell today for the Stock Market, we can see the premarket is up a bit based on more X comments from the President after the market dipped at the end of last week because of other comments regarding tariffs and China again. This is probably the 3rd or 4th time we have seen this fluctuations based on tariff comments. I’ve always said to pay attention as there is money to be made.
I also want to remind everyone about the most volatile market hours. When the market opens (9:30-10:30am EST) and when the market closes (3-4pm EST) is when the market is most unstable during a trading day historically. I’m not saying to avoid buying or selling during these hours, but simply be aware. I wouldn’t want to feel like I was missing out on something because a stock jumps (hypothetically from $40 to $44 in the first hour of trading) because by mid day or day’s end, it could be right back where it started or even below that.
As always, study the trends and do your due diligence before investing your hard earned money!
