So I missed National Daughter’s Day yesterday…sorry Emily! I think she’ll be okay. After all, there is a list of “National Days” for every single day of the year. It did prompt me to see what was on the list of today’s National Days. And it led me to find it pertains to my biggest pet peeve: Situational Awareness (of lack there of)
Nothing drives me more crazy than an individual that goes around thinking the 3 foot radius around them is the center of the universe. Holding up a line at the supermarket because you’re in the middle of a phone call…on speaker phone! I hold a door open for you as a courtesy….the appropriate action is a simple “Thank you”, not walking past me silently like I’m your personal doorman. Being on a conference call for work and the same individuals like to take their intellect for a walk and just rattle on with tons of words but says NOTHING. You get the idea.
So what is your biggest pet peeve?
On a more positive note, today is also National Pancake Day. So go ahead and have breakfast for dinner tonight…it won’t bother me at all.
