I posted awhile back about a horrific pint of Guinness I was poured at a hotel in Cleveland. This morning I was reading more of a book Emily brought me back from her trip to Ireland called ” A Compendium of Irish Pints” by Ali Dunworth. I laughed when I started reading a chapter dedicated to all the lousy ways a pint can be screwed up.
In the chapter, it also mentions a guy named Ian Ryan, who has an Instagram page called: shitlondonguinness
I love this account as he’s searching for the perfect pint but calling out all the places that simply don’t do it correctly. He even wrote a book called: A Beautiful Pint. One man’s search for the perfect pint of Guinness. (hint: could make a nice Father’s Day gift)
I went down the rabbit hole this morning and scrolled all through the pictures and posts of the awful pours. Below is a picture that made me cringe of just a terrible pour…and what glass is that?
