In the month of January here in NJ, we still on occasion can get a snowfall worth sledding on. As it stands today, temps are in the low 50’s so that isn’t happening anytime soon. However, Emily and I will be sledding tomorrow…in slightly warmer weather…..and on sand not snow. Huh? Confused yet?
I have written in the past about utilizing your credit cards for rewards during a Monday Finance post. What good are those rewards if you don’t utilize them once in awhile. So that’s what we are doing.
American Airlines Miles: booked a flight to El Paso, TX.
Marriott Rewards: Booked hotels in different towns in New Mexico.
Emily and I are off again on another National Parks Adventure. This time we are hitting White Sands National Park and Carlsbad Caverns National Park in New Mexico. Then we are going to be doing some great hiking in Guadalupe Mountains National Park in Northwest Texas.
And the sledding part? You can rent a sled (and buy some wax to go with it) at White Sands National Park in New Mexico and sled down the sand dunes. Sounds like a fun adventure to us!
